Senior Software Engineer - Renewable Energy Software
Help us develop and grow our suite of Renewable Energy Management System products! We seek people who are enthusiastic about code quality, helping teams grow, and nurturing more junior developers.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and tackle high-impact problems in the renewable energy space. Rather than looking for someone tied to a specific framework or domain, we're seeking an engineer with a strong understanding of software fundamentals, experience building production-grade systems, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. You write clean, maintainable code, think in terms of scalability and reliability, and are comfortable making technical decisions.

Full remote (only freelance consultancy agreements)
Employee Salary Range (Gross Annual Salary, RAL): € 40, ,000.00
Contractor Compensation Range (Annualized): € 50, ,000.00
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain a world-class renewable energy management system, handling tens of gigawatts of power worldwide
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Optimize and scale our backend infrastructure to handle increasing demand
Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our applications
Write high-quality code and contribute to building complete systems (backend and frontend), not just isolated components.
Work alongside exceptional developers, learning and sharing knowledge every day.

Job requirements
Smart and gets things done
6+ years of hands-on experience, especially NET focused
You are a great software engineer and can contribute to creating great software engineering teams
You consistently deliver high-quality software
You have experience in system architecture, databases, and are comfortable with both strongly typed and dynamic programming languages.
You are highly skilled in database management
You have a strong understanding of modern architectures, databases and queues
You have a 4-hour overlap with CET time zones
You're eligible to obtain a visa and can travel to Italy within three months of hiring
