Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Compensation: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience)

We are a rapidly growing logistics company providing nationwide warehousing, distribution, and transportation services. We pride ourselves on operational excellence, strong customer relationships, and a collaborative team environment. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a high-performing Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage a high volume of invoices in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

This individual will work closely with vendors, internal operations, and the accounting team to maintain data integrity and support month‑end close activities.

• Process and reconcile high‑volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies
• Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure accuracy
• Maintain vendor files and manage vendor communications, including resolution of discrepancies
• Assist with weekly payment runs and expense reports
• Support month‑end closing tasks including AP accruals and reporting
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with supply chain, operations, and warehouse teams
• Drive process improvement and contribute to AP best practices

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
• 2+ years of high‑volume Accounts Payable experience within a large corporate environment
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Hourly pay of $22–$25/hr depending on experience
