Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

One of the most successful and rapidly-growing Accounting Advisory + Wealth Management firms in Chicagoland hiring Entry-level Staff Accountant for their Client Accounting & Advisory Services team!
Keys to an interview- New or recent graduate with Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 0-2 years' Accounting experience
- Strong communication skills, comfortable communicating with clients as needed
- CPA pursuant preferred but not required
- Multiple bonus programs (15-20% of base comp)
- Maximum of 40 hours per week
- Exposure to multiple industries (manufacturing, distribution, construction, contracting, professional services, real estate, hospitality, etc.)
- Hybrid work schedule plus Summer Fridays - no work every other Friday between Memorial and Labor Day
- Work under Senior Accountants to support the daily accounting operations for clients, ensuring accurate handling of bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Collaborate directly with business owners of successful entrepreneurial ventures, providing financial insights and guidance.
- Monitor cash flow, develop budgets, and create financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Support month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, while analyzing variances and trends.
- Manage bank reporting and ensure compliance with credit agreements on a monthly basis.
- Facilitate financial audits and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
