Accounting Assistant – Accounts Payable; Japanese Bilingual

A Japanese company is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support its accounting team, primarily focusing on accounts payable and employee expense reimbursements.

The role offers consistent monthly responsibilities, minimal overtime, and flexible working hours after a three-month introductory period.

• Review employee expense receipts and record expense reimbursements.
• Process vendor and general expense invoices, including entering transactions and arranging payments.
• Reconcile payments against outstanding invoices.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other accounting support as needed.

• Japanese proficiency sufficient for daily workplace communication, as Japanese is the primary language used in the office.
• Intermediate English proficiency, particularly in reading and writing.
• Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Strong attention to detail, a cooperative attitude, and a willingness to learn.
• Previous accounting experience is a plus but is not required.
