Office Clerk On‑Site Itasca – Option Care Health

This Office Clerk will perform general office and data entry duties, collaborating with the healthcare team to support scheduling, records management and other administrative functions. Hours are 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday‑Friday. Hiring range starts at $19 +.

• Complete data entry projects and other office assignments as given.
• Copy, fax, and file paperwork as needed.
• File incoming materials and records for patients according to the filing system.
• Search for and investigate information contained in the files, keep files current and supply information from file data or remove files upon request.
• Process invoices correctly and in a timely manner.
• Complete payment process in the system correctly; work with subcontract agencies to reconcile cash and track liabilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
• Accept other responsibilities and duties that may be assigned.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Basic email skills and internet navigation.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience operating a phone, computer, fax machine, and copier.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.

• At least 6 months experience in medical filing.

Pay Range is $16.66 – $27.75. Salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
