Our Retail IP Division blends fan culture with merchandise, licensing and brand storytelling. We’re looking for a versatile and imaginative Graphic Designer to bring our brands to life through bold, fan‑forward creative across digital, print and product touchpoints.

Position Overview

As a Graphic Designer for the Retail IP Division, you will be at the heart of our visual storytelling. From social media graphics and product signage to retail displays and convention branding, you’ll design for fans across all platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing, operations and events teams to ensure that every creative piece reflects the spirit and standards of our iconic IPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design visual assets for digital marketing (social media, email, web) and promotional materials.
  • Create templates, style guides and brand assets to maintain a cohesive visual identity across campaigns and IPs.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to produce reactive content that taps into trending topics and fan culture.
  • Assist in designing materials for events and conventions (e.g., Comic‑Con, Anime Expo), including banners, posters and handouts.
  • Prep files for print production and coordinate with vendors and media to ensure high‑quality outputs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Bandai Namco’s IP guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate representation of characters and assets.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to support product launches and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of graphic design experience (in‑house, agency or freelance).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print design projects – especially pop culture, entertainment or fan‑driven work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
    After Effects or Premiere is a plus.
  • Deep love for anime, gaming, toys and fandom culture – bonus if you have designed for licensed IPs.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and how to design effective, engaging content for each.
  • Strong time‑management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field preferred.
