Title: Mechanical Engineer – Enclosures Design

Pay: $28-30/hr

Full-Time | Onsite | Contract-to-hire

We’re seeking two Mechanical Engineers to join the Enclosures Division — the fastest-growing product line within the organization. This group focuses on high-volume mechanical design projects, developing multiple variations of industrial enclosures. The position offers the opportunity to apply hands‑on CAD skills and mechanical design fundamentals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Design and develop mechanical enclosures and assemblies using Solid Works and/or AutoCAD.
• Prepare and release engineering drawings, layouts, and bills of material (BOMs).
• Support design reviews and ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with purchasing, vendors, and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with preliminary and proposal design work as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME required) or related technical discipline.
• 0–3 years of mechanical design experience (must have internship or hands‑on project experience if entry‑level).
• Proficiency with Solid Works and/or AutoCAD required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, assemblies, and design principles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Extracurricular or leadership involvement (sports, clubs, or technical projects) is a plus.
