• Support corporate and plant goals by assisting the Production Superintendent in daily operational and strategic activities.
• Plan, direct, and oversee the work of Production Supervisors, Process Control Supervisors, and Operators to maximize production output, product quality, safety, and housekeeping standards while minimizing cost, downtime, and environmental impact.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that ensure efficient and compliant production operations.
• Establish and optimize operating parameters for reactor and wet processing systems.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production grades, operating status, and unit performance.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to evaluate and approve the quality and effectiveness of equipment repairs and modifications.
• Train department personnel on Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods, tools, and best practices.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production processes to identify root causes, implement improvements, and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare and present detailed reports for plant management regarding production volume, product quality, operational performance, downtime analysis, personnel matters, and environmental compliance.
• Provide chemical engineering expertise for process design, optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
• Evaluate process capability data and lead the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to reduce quality-related costs and improve overall performance.
• Lead and execute special projects assigned by plant management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience in a chemical or manufacturing plant.
• Green Belt Certification preferred.
• Proficient with scientific methods, MS Office and Project, and AutoCAD.
