I am recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing global fintech platform in Itasca, IL who are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join its expanding U.S. team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technology-driven environment and enjoys working with financial data, operational reporting, and cross-functional teams.

• Support monthly close and financial reporting processes
• Manage payout setup, calculations, reviews, and distributions
• Investigate and resolve breaks from daily/monthly reconciliations
• Reconcile financial data across systems to ensure accuracy
• Assist with documenting processes, strengthening internal controls, and improving workflows
• Collaborate with development, compliance, risk, and management teams on reporting enhancements
• Take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance function
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency with accounting systems (Net Suite preferred)
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets)
• Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and initiative
