Position:
Rehabilitation Technician – Itasca (Physical/Occupational Therapy)
- Part‑time, 20 hours per week.
- Hours:
Monday‑Friday; one evening shift until 7:00 pm. - Location:
Elk Grove/Itasca. - Travel:
Expected to travel to other sites for coverage needs.

- Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director, responsible for patient care, support, and guidance.
- Execute plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers.
- Set up and adjust exercise equipment.
- Assist with modalities (electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.).
- Use educational techniques to ensure patient understanding.
- Monitor safety and response to exercise intensity.
- Discuss performance with PT/OT provider.
- Clinic flow:
Monitor arrivals, start patients on time, maintain cleanliness, order supplies, perform front‑end tasks. - Check‑in, collect co‑pay/financial responsibility.
- Answer phones and schedule future appointments.
- Communicate via chat with PT/OT and chiropractic referral team about insurance benefits.
- Manage clinician schedules (confirmation calls, rescheduling).
- CPR certification required (offered through Duly Health and Care).
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Understanding of principles and contraindications/precautions for therapy modalities.
- Ability to identify proper patient set‑up on equipment and adjust.
- Ability to identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning.
- Team‑oriented.
- Attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Problem‑solving, lateral thinking, and reasoning skills.
- Strong communication skills.
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.10–$22.70 per hour, with pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
