An established pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a 6-month assignment in Itasca, IL. This contract role offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable workweek and the opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily pharmacy operations across multiple areas including prescription processing and pharmacy-related support (PRS) duties
- Support tasks in the warehouse as needed, demonstrating flexibility to work in various sections of the pharmacy
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency while handling prescriptions and inventory
Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required
- PTCB Certification mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of solid pharmacy experience preferred to effectively manage role responsibilities
- Ability to adapt and contribute to multiple facets of pharmacy service
- This role is based in Itasca, Illinois
- Pay is commensurate with experience:
- $23/hour with 1 year of experience
- $24/hour with 2 years of experience
- $25/hour with 3 or more years of experience
