Job Description:

We’re seeking a proactive, bilingual HR Coordinator to join our client’s Human Resources team full-time and on-site in Itasca, IL. The key candidate for this position can help out on a contracted basis until the end of the year.

Job Title: HR Coordinator

Industry: Manufacturing

Pay: $23-26/hr

Employment Type: Contract until early January 2026 with potential to extend

Benefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.

• Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, recruiting support, onboarding, and terminations
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate new hire orientations, training, and policy rollouts
• Maintain and manage employee documentation, records, and I-9 compliance
• Assist with HRIS system updates and employee data entry (experience with Paycom preferred)
• Step in to support HR investigations and escalate issues appropriately
• Draft and manage offer letters and internal communications
• Help with open enrollment and benefits-related processes
• Post job openings, screen candidates, and coordinate interview schedules
• Support cross-functional HR initiatives and special projects as needed

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
• Associate’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or related field
• Background in manufacturing or distribution environments strongly preferred
• Comfortable working fully on-site, Monday through Friday
