We have been the leader in the arcade, amusement, and entertainment industry for over 40 years and are looking for a determined individual to join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator on-site in Itasca, IL.

Position Overview:

The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for assisting the human resources functions of talent attraction, hiring, training and development, employee engagement and performance, compensation and benefits, payroll processing and timekeeping. This position requires strong communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process, verify, and maintain comprehensive personnel records, including staffing changes, recruitment files, training documentation, grievances, performance evaluations, job classifications, and employee leave requests.
  • Manage routine monthly benefits invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Conduct resume screening, coordinate candidate scheduling, and support the overall candidate evaluation process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation sessions to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Review and screen employment applications to assess candidate qualifications and eligibility.
  • Support the administration of employee benefit programs by assisting employees and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assist with compliance reporting and audit preparation to meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Support semi‑monthly payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Contribute to special HR projects and initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and employee experience.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive employee information at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a generalist or coordinator capacity
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and self‑motivated, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Proficient in data entry and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
