Description
This role is responsible for researching, processing, and fulfilling IT procurement orders received from the end user community. This role involves working with identified vendors to procure hardware, software, and peripheral purchases for the company. The Specialist will follow up on new and existing orders to ensure proper information is validated prior to purchase and order processing. They will coordinate with end users on the delivery of new units, track assets within the Service Now Asset Management system, and allocate existing equipment when appropriate.
Responsibilities- Respond to and process IT procurement requests for hardware, software, and services within defined SLAs.
- Ensure all approvals and compliance requirements are met.
- Work with vendors to fulfill equipment and supply requests, ensuring delivery timelines are met per vendor SLAs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records in the Service Now Asset Management system.
- Monitor ticket queues and collaborate with the team to prioritize incidents and work tickets for existing units requiring replacement.
- Manage software cloud accounts and license keys.
- Arrange for disposal and/or relocation of hardware with identified vendors.
- Ensure new hires have required equipment (laptops, mobile devices) prior to start dates by validating with hiring managers, confirming locations, and proactively processing tickets.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma. At least two (2) years of experience in business or an IT role. Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to complete procurement requests that meet department requirements. Strong time management skills, including prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong decision-making and collaborative skills. Overall PC literacy, including intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 – $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
