IT Infrastructure and Network Administrator - Chemical Manufacturer

Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Location:

Itasca, IL (suburban area)

An international chemical manufacturing and solutions company is looking for an IT Infrastructure and Network Administrator responsible for designing and implementing the company's IT infrastructure systems as well as network management.

• Design, implement and maintain core IT infrastructure systems
• Write scripts to automate processes
• Monitor overall IT systems to ensure high performance and stability
• Maintain and improve backup systems
• Maintain and monitor network security and seek improvements
• Assist help desk responsibilities and perform system updates
• Ensure systems meet security requirements
• Design and develop communication systems
• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business
• At least 3 years of experience with IT infrastructure
• At least 3 years of experience with M365 and Entra
• At least 3 years of experience with network work support
• Experience with tier 1,2 helpdesk
• Experience with Jira ticket system is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 10 percent to MI and CA
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift >25 lbs with assist, climb stairs, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at waist, talk and hear, use vision, color, depth, peripheral.
