CMM Operator​/Hexagon Polyworks Arm Operator – CNC Machining

Tech-Max Machine is a precision CNC machine shop with a brand-new, state-of-the-art technical center in Itasca, Illinois. We are seeking skilled Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operators and Hexagon Polyworks Arm Operators to perform accurate dimensional inspections on complex, large machined components.

• Set up and operate CMMs and Hexagon Polyworks Arms to inspect machined parts.
• Perform both visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
• Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports.
• Collaborate with Production Managers and Engineering to resolve inspection issues.
• Ensure accurate documentation for all inspection activities.

• 1–3 years of experience in a metrology or inspection environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience with Calypso Zeiss and/or Polyworks software.
• Ability to use a full range of hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with ISO and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, and 3D modeling a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
