OverviewThe quality assurance documentation specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining quality management system documentation to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standard.
Job Duties- Creating, reviewing, formatting, and maintaining quality system documents such as procedures, work instructions, forms, and records
- Controlling documents and records in accordance with document control procedures, including revision management and distribution
- Coordinating document changes, approvals, and effective dates with process owners and management
- Ensuring documentation aligns with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001), regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing controlled documents and objective evidence
- Strong written communication and technical writing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with revision control, change management, and records retention requirements
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Understanding of manufacturing or regulated environments and audit processes
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple documents and deadlines
