The Steiner Summer Internship program is designed for undergraduate students looking to launch a career in the electrical distribution industry
Through hands on experience structured training and mentorship participants develop the sales and technical expertise needed to support contractor and industrial customers while building a strong foundation for long term career growth
What Youll DoAs a participant in our summer internship program you will rotate through key areas of the business and gain real world experience including
- Supporting sales and operations teams in day to day activities
- Learning product applications and technical solutions
- Assisting with customer quotes orders and project coordination
- Building relationships with contractor and industrial customers
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to solve customer needs
3 month structured development program June August
- Hands on experience across sales operations and product specialties
- Exposure to contractor and industrial markets
- Mentorship from experienced industry professionals
- Real customer interaction and quoting experience
The Summer Internship program is a 90 day program for rising Juniors Seniors to develop foundational industry and sales or technical skills and evaluate for participation in our college development program upon graduation
The program will consist of three possible tracks Contractor Sales Industrial Sales or Technical Product Specialist
Qualifications- Junior or Senior in undergraduate program
- Strong interest in sales business development or technical products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated with a willingness to learn
