Overview
AIT is seeking a Domestic Customer Tracking Agent I to join our team to track and trace shipments with high accuracy. The team ensures that shipments are updated timely, troubleshoots service disruptions, and communicates service delays.
Responsibilities- Track and trace shipments as necessary to ensure proper movement and delivery
- Receive and inspect incoming returns.
- Update shipments with current shipment status to include comprehensive notes
- Communicate daily with AIT field offices as well as AIT's agent/carrier networks to ensure on-time performance
- Maintain the Shipping area to ensure efficient processing and storage of packages
- Cultivate and foster trusting relationships with AIT's agent/carrier networks

Other Skills We Hope to See:
- High School/GED required - Associates degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
- Minimum of 1 year Customer Service or Tracking experience in a freight forwarding environment
- Prior experience working with AS400 a plus
- Basic to intermediate PC skills - MS Office
- Ability effectively prioritize and manage time and tasks
- Detailed Oriented
- Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong Communication skills both verbal and written
