- Unit: Cardiac Stepdown Unit
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing contract)
- Start Date: June 23, 2025
- End Date: September 22, 2025
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts (4 shifts/week)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2330 - $2500 per week
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state (NY nursing jobs)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, cardiac rhythms, and progress
- Administer cardiac medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit meetings
