• Facility: Hospital – Imaging Ultrasound Main Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Ultrasound Technologist
• Start Date: June 30, 2024
• End Date: September 29, 2024
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12 hour day shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030–$2,190 per week

Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ARDMS certification (or equivalent sonographer credential)
• Proficiency in general sonography required; vascular sonography experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure patient safety and diagnostic accuracy
• Document and communicate imaging findings clearly to the clinical support and healthcare team
• Deliver compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process
• Assist with both general and vascular sonography procedures as needed
