• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (July 6, 2024 – October 5, 2024)
• Setting: Hospital – Imaging Ultrasound Main Unit
• Shift: Day shifts, 10 hours each
• Schedule: Varied schedule, 3 or 4 shifts per week (36–40 hours/week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Weekends: No weekends required
• Estimated weekly pay: $2,260–$2,430

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer
• Current ARDMS certification (or equivalent sonography certification)
• Experience in General Sonography and Vascular Sonography preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians and in accordance with hospital protocols
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
• Accurately document and communicate exam findings to radiologists and healthcare providers
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Follow all hospital policies and regulatory standards for clinical support staff
