- Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 27, 2024 – August 26, 2024)
- Setting: Hospital – Imaging Ultrasound Main Unit
- Shift: Variable, 3x12-hour rotating shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
- Employment Type: Travel Ultrasound Tech
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer (general sonography preferred)
- Current ARDMS or equivalent certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Experience in general and vascular sonography highly preferred
- Ability to work variable 12-hour shifts in a hospital environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures according to hospital and clinical protocols
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document and report imaging findings in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Deliver compassionate patient care and support throughout the diagnostic imaging process
