Position Overview A healthcare organization seeks an experienced Director of Perioperative Services to lead operational, financial, and clinical aspects in perioperative services.
Overseeing surgical and procedural areas, including pre/post-op care, endoscopy, and OR scheduling, the Director will enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Lead perioperative services at a system level.
Manage daily perioperative operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Set operational goals and policies.
Enhance workforce performance and financial results.
Required Qualifications BSN required.
Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of healthcare experience with a focus on surgical services.
3+ years of surgical-services leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications AORN, CASC, or another appropriate leadership certification.
Experience leading multiple perioperative departments or locations.
Experience with operational redesign, process improvement, and throughput optimization.
Strong project-management capabilities.
Experience using healthcare information, financial, and database systems.
