• Call Requirement: 12 hours/week (must be able to arrive at hospital within 20 minutes; overnight rooms available)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2260 - $2420

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet on-call requirements within 20 minutes

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Assess patient physical condition, review medical history, vital signs, and diagnostic studies
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients and families
• Follow Universal Protocol and adhere to infection control and patient safety policies
• Monitor and document patient responses to surgical interventions, alerting surgeons or anesthesiologists as needed
• Develop proficiency in both scrub and circulating nurse duties, gaining exposure to a variety of surgical cases
• Participate in ongoing nursing education, orientation, and simulation-based learning
