• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (February 17, 2025 – May 19, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Services – Stepdown Unit
• Shift: Variable 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other holiday and every other weekend required
• Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,330 – $2,500

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing setting
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adults recovering from cardiac procedures and acute cardiac conditions
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer cardiac medications, and perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, recovery, and discharge planning
• Accurately document patient care and interventions using EPIC EMR
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
