• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (10/6/2025 – 1/5/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Prep & Recovery Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: Call required
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930-$2070

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, Progressive Care, or acute care nursing experience
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Prep & Recovery Unit (PCU)
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Participate in call rotation and respond to urgent patient needs as required
