• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (Finger Lakes region – New York nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2024 – End: 3/10/2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Surgical Services – Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), call required, block scheduling not guaranteed
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2030 - $2180
• Employment Type: Travel nursing, W2

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical skills in surgical nursing and patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as required

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations in the operating room
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition during perioperative care
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols in compliance with healthcare standards
• Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures
• Participate in call rotation and respond to emergent surgical needs as required
