• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024)
• Healthcare Setting: On-site, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab Unit)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Variable shifts; 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2330 - $2500

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN or acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to variable shifts and a fast-paced clinical environment

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
• Educate patients and families on cardiac procedures and post-procedure care
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations as needed
