• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 27, 2024 – August 26, 2024)
• Healthcare Setting: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Shift: 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: 1 overnight call per week; every 4th week includes weekend call (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Employment Type: Travel nursing, W2
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$2050 per week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or critical care nursing experience
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to participate in scheduled call (overnight and weekend)

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs, manage airways, and assess patient recovery in a clinical setting
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by healthcare providers
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams, patients, and families
• Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Document all nursing care provided in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
