• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 7, 2024 – August 6, 2024)
• Setting: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU nursing job)
• Shift: 5x8 hour day shifts (Monday – Friday)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: 1 overnight call per week and every 4th week includes weekend call (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$2050 per week
• Employment Type: Travel RN, W2

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or critical care nursing experience
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in a clinical setting
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation
• Participate in overnight and weekend call rotations as required for PACU nursing jobs
