• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/6/2025 – End: 4/7/2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Prep & Recovery Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: One 24-hour weekend call per 6-week rotation; 2-6 weekday calls per 6-week period depending on staffing
• Hours of Operation: 5am – 10pm
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,720 - $1,840

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Prep & Recovery, or acute care nursing job
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to participate in required call rotations

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Prep & Recovery Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
• Respond to emergencies and participate in scheduled call rotations
