• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
• Healthcare Setting: General Surgery Clinic (Surgi Care homebase; float to main OR as needed)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (July 1, 2024 – September 30, 2024)
• Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts per week; call required
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,420 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Experience with eye procedures required
• Ability to take call at both Surgi Care and main OR locations
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

• Serve as an OR RN Circulator for a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on ophthalmic (eye) surgeries
• Float between Surgi Care and main operating room as needed, with Surgi Care as your primary assignment
• Participate in call rotation at both surgical locations
• Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary surgical team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
