• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 19, 2024 – November 18, 2024)
• Healthcare Setting: Surgical Services – Operating Room
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (start time either 7am or 8am)
• On-Call Requirement: Minimum 12-hour call during the week (30-minute response time required)
• Weekend Requirements: Based on unit needs
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2030 - $2180
• Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in Same Day Surgery, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, Detox, or IDD units is a plus

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the operating room setting
• Assist with surgical procedures and maintain patient safety throughout all perioperative phases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond as required
