NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Travel Nursing Job in Ithaca, NY

NICURN Job Details – Ithaca, NY
- Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Maternal Child Health Department
- Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
- Start Date: June 1, 2025
- End Date: August 31, 2025
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
- Active RN license in New York State (NYS RN license required)
- Associate of Applied Science in Nursing or higher (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (NICU or post-partum nursing experience preferred)
- BLS certification required upon hire
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements, light lifting, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Deliver direct patient care to neonates and mothers in the Maternal Child Health department
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality clinical support
- Perform patient assessment, data collection, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs
- Maintain compliance with nursing standards and guidelines (AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN)
- Operate and maintain NICU equipment and technology for optimal patient care
