Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Bakery Assistant to join our clients team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for baking or food production and a strong work ethic. You will play a key role in supporting our bakery operations, ensuring high-quality products and maintaining a smooth workflow.

Location:

Iver, Buckinghamshire
Pay: £12.21 per hour

Shifts:

Alternating shifts (8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break):

● 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

● 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

● 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

● 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist in the preparation, baking, and packaging of bakery products.

● Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

● Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

● Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

● Follow recipes and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

● Support team members with daily tasks and ensure efficient shift transitions.

Requirements:

● Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is a plus but not essential (training will be provided).

● Flexibility to work alternating shifts as required.

● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

● Ability to work well in a team and independently.

● Good physical stamina, as the role may involve standing for extended periods and some lifting.

● Punctuality and reliability are essential.
