Security Dog Handler

Kopek Security & Facilities Ltd is a national provider of manned and canine assisted security services. As a company, we consistently strive to deliver a high standard of service.

We are looking for a team of compliant, diligent Dog Handlers for a secure site in Slough.

The site requires cover 24/7 so we have a range of working patterns.

All handlers will be required to ensure the security of our client’s premises while adhering to the site safety rules and regulations. Handlers will be required to be compliant to the British Standards, conduct random dog patrols of the site and any other specific duties to be advised in the assignment instructions.

Successful applicants will be expected to maintain high levels of proficiency along with their canine teammate through regular training and improvements.

A high level of animal welfare and care will always be expected!

Hours of Work

12 hour shifts working on either 4 on 4 off or 7 on 7 off rotation. Days and nights available

Rates of Pay

£15.23hr PAYE only

Handler Requirements

To apply , applicants are required to have:

* Work ethics, positive attitude and be a team player

* Genuine understanding of their canine partners needs/welfare

* A valid frontline SIA badge

* Minimum level 2 team certificate (NASDU, NTIPDU or BIPDT)

* Have the right to work in the UK and able to work 20 hours or more a week

* Professional, presentable with excellent communication skills
