Pay:
Starting from £12.45 an hour, increasing to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. Hours worked between midnight and 6 am receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; a minimum of 12 hours can also be arranged. The contract will be scheduled within the availability windows and you’ll receive at least three weeks’ notice of upcoming shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times match closely, we’ll still consider you.

You will be responsible for- Knowing customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
- Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
- Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Putting into practice the training received, so work is safe, effective and customers are served brilliantly.
- Making decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet their needs at the right time.
- Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Being knowledgeable about the store's performance and contributing to service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
- Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
- At times, accepting deliveries into the store.
- A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
- The ability to build rapport with customers so they leave with a great shopping trip.
