Pay starts from £14.18 per hour and increases to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

It’s policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; there are opportunities to work fewer hours (minimum 12) if preferred.

You will be responsible for delivering your part of the customer shopping trip by:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy
• Leaving the back yard clean and free of rubbish; picking up litter as needed
• Washing trays as part of the tray wash process
• Loading the van safely and checking the van for roadworthiness
• Talking to customers about changes to orders, substitutions, and offering refunds where appropriate
• Taking care of products and deliveries as if they were your own
• Explaining to customers that substitutions will not incur extra charges
• Delivering within the customer’s time slot
• Calling the customer before arriving if early
• Calling the store if running 30 minutes or more late

You will need to:

• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and support store performance
• Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change
• Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations and balance home and work life
• Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues to improve the store
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
