In order to support the growth of our  Finance Department , we are currently looking for a  Business Analyst  to   join our  HQ Team  in  Brussels .

As a Business Analyst at SMT, you will play a central role in the  continuous improvement  of our Business Applications and Business Processes. Your positioning in the company allows you to be a key player of our  Digital Transformation . You're responsible for  providing practical solutions  that the business can implement when experiencing challenges with systems.
Information Gathering:  conduct interviews, organize meetings, and workshops to collect all necessary information ;
Needs Analysis:  collaborate with internal departments to identify business needs and user requirements related to our IT systems ;
Documentation :  maintain business models, functional designs, and system documentation ;
Process Analysis :
Describe, analyze, and evaluate bottlenecks as well as opportunities for improvement in our operational processes ;
Process Modelling :
Use modelling techniques to map and optimize business processes ;
Develop & Write functional specifications  :
Develop business analyses, detect opportunities, and translate them into functional specifications and user stories for IT development ;
Power

BI reports : qualify requirements, propose solutions, test solutions and implement them;
Project Management :
Actively participate in project management, monitor progress, coordinate actions with project teams and project managers, while respecting deadlines and budgets ;
Monitoring Developments :
Stay constantly informed of the latest trends and developments in the field of IT and process analysis.

You hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field ;
You already have a  minimum of 5 years' professional experience  as a Business Analyst, consultant, or in a similar role, ideally in the services sector ;
You are fluent in  French and English languages , both written and spoken ;
You have strong knowledge of  process modelling techniques  (BPM, UML, etc.) ;
You have previous experience with  Agile methodology , experience in Scrum is a plus ;
Familiarity with  business analysis tools  (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL) is preferred ;
You have  excellent communication skills  (both technical and non-technical) ;
You are organized, methodical, and able to meet deadlines while keeping an eye on details.
