Qualifications

Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Underground Construction (UGC) Business Development & Sales Engineer to work in the Underground Construction Department in Turkey.

  • A bachelor`s degree in mining engineering or related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills an English
  • 2 to 5 years industry experience in underground mining, mine planning, and preferably with a diverse range of commodities
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, flexible workplace
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively
  • Ability and willingness to travel and long duration stay at project site, as and when required
Job Description
  • To carry out sales and marketing activities of UGC products
  • Managing the existing customer portfolio and ensuring new customer acquisitions
  • Developing sales strategies by conducting market research
  • Providing product recommendations and technical support according to customer demands
  • Realizing sales target and preparing regular sales report
  • To follow innovations and competitor activities in the sector
  • Conducting field tests underground
  • Preparing detailed reports of the tests performed
