For our global business partner operating in the industrial automation, electrification, and manufacturing technologies sector, we are currently seeking a 'Robotics Automation Engineer' to join their engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced automation solutions within a modern manufacturing environment, while working closely with cross‑functional teams and contributing to innovation‑driven projects.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and optimize robotic and automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Program, integrate, commission, and troubleshoot industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, FANUC).
- Develop and implement collaborative robot (Cobot) applications and safe collaborative work spaces.
- Establish and troubleshoot Robot–PLC communication structures, including handshake and interlock protocols.
- Develop, maintain, and improve PLC and HMI systems.
- Select, configure, and integrate sensor technologies to enhance machine performance and process control.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities through automation technologies.
- Lead and coordinate activities within automation laboratory environments.
- Manage automation projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators related to automation projects and production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in robotics and industrial automation.
- Proven hands‑on experience with industrial robots, automation systems, and manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial control systems (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Omron, or similar).
- Experience with robotic integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with collaborative robots (Cobots) and industrial safety standards.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Turkish and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
