Product Manager
As a Product Manager, you will work under the Regional Product Manager (RPM), Product Line (PL), Power Transformer (PT), and HUB APMEA. Your role focuses on improving competitiveness, conducting benchmarking, monitoring technology trends, and supporting the development and execution of regional product strategies.
This position drives innovation by analyzing market trends, customer requirements, benchmarking internal and external offerings, and monitoring technology developments across portfolios to generate new ideas that strengthen competitiveness and enhance the solutions that keep the company ahead of market trends and competitors.
Within the Power Transformer Product Line, your primary responsibility is to enhance competitiveness and support the RPM in tracking regional roadmaps across different portfolios. This includes leveraging your expertise in power transformer design, project specifications, scheduling, cost estimation, and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Marketing & Sales (M&S), Production, and Finance across five PT factories under APMEA. You will also collaborate with Global Product Managers (GPM) and Global Top Gun (TG) Designers as necessary, monitor progress and performance, and implement necessary actions to complete projects, developing solutions and supporting the organization’s long‑term success in a competitive market.

- Define and implement regional product roadmap initiatives aligned with market demand across HUB APMEA.
- Support the RPM in providing regional MRS including applicable business case to GPMs and business case for R&D initiatives.
- Enhance competitiveness by delivering solutions that fulfill customer requirements and align with industry standards, including the optimization of transformer designs and associated costs, leading the implementation, validating savings and business cases for DtV projects.
- Review designs, facilitate design concept evaluations, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve competitiveness for PT factories within HUB APMEA.
- Work closely with the M&S team to assess and reach consensus on strategic opportunities required to enhance competitiveness and track progress initiatives with relevant teams, maintaining a thorough understanding of market conditions and competitor strengths and weaknesses.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional departments, including Engineering, SCM, M&S and Production across five PT factories within APMEA, and collaborate with Global Product Specialist (GPS) and Global Top Gun (TG) Designers as required.
- Support the RPM in implementing frameworks and strategies for Power Transformer under HUB APMEA.
- Develop training programs for stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities adhere to internal and external policies and regulations relevant to regional product management and competitive analysis.

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; a master’s degree is an asset.
- At least five years of engineering experience, ideally in the power transformer industry, with knowledge of product analytics and competitive analysis preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of the manufacturing process of power transformers and industry technologies to effectively work on competitiveness programs.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools and the ability to develop new creative ideas to enhance competitiveness for power transformers.
- Analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Good communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, innovative approach with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional and regionally diverse teams.
