• Design and develop powertrain systems from concept phase to mass production
• Prepare technical specifications, validation plans, and design documentation
• Ensure customer technical requirements are properly integrated into designs
• Support prototype build and validation testing activities
• Collaborate with suppliers for technical evaluations and design alignment
• Contribute to cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and project teams

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of powertrain systems (engine, transmission, cooling systems, exhaust systems, retarder, fuel systems etc.)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA, NX, Solid Works, or similar)
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack‑up, and technical drawing standards
• Solid knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes (casting, forging, machining, etc.)
• Familiarity with FEA/CAE analysis tools (preferred)
• Experience with product development methodologies (APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, etc.)
• Ability to prepare and review technical documentation in English
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and team‑oriented mindset
• Knowledge of NVH principles
• Experience in validation and testing processes
• Previous involvement in global OEM projects
