Component Development and Embedded Design Engineer
Location:
Kocaeli, TR
- Graduated from Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Have a good command of English
- Minimum 6–8 years of industry experience in automotive electronics
- Have a strong interest in automotive electrical and electronic systems
- Solid experience with automotive electronic components including MCUs, power electronics, driver circuits, and Ethernet, CAN/LIN interfaces
- Proficient in at least one schematic and PCB design tool (preferably Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar)
- Experience in high-speed signal integrity, EMC/EMI requirements, and power distribution design
- Able to effectively use electronic test and measurement equipment (oscilloscope, analyzers, signal generators, multimeters, etc.)
- Knowledgeable in design, analysis, manufacturing, and technical documentation processes within the automotive domain
- Capable of designing electronics in compliance with automotive standards and certification requirements (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 16750, etc.)
- Familiar with quality processes such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA
- Completed military service (for male candidates)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Have a team-oriented and systematic working approach
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Eager to stay up to date with current developments and innovations in automotive technologies
- Manage the design, development, validation, and production activities of electronic components and circuits for automotive applications
- Plan, execute, and report on electrical, functional, environmental, and durability tests for electronic designs
- Prepare the necessary technical documentation and reports related to design improvements and revisions
- Establish and maintain quality processes such as FMEA and PPAP, and prepare the related documentation
- Implement design improvements in compliance with automotive standards including EMI/EMC, ESD, and reverse polarity protection requirements
- Be familiar with automotive design standards and keep up to date with technologies and standards such as SAE J1939-11, ISO 11898-1, ISO 16750-1, ISO 7637-2, ISO 6722, etc.
- Conduct technical discussions with suppliers and follow up on sample procurement and validation processes
- Manage design validation (DVP) and production validation (PVP) activities prior to mass production
