Reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager

In this role, you will act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost‑effective manner and showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts.

Work model for the role: hybrid

• Follow up the mechanical engineering of switch gear projects from beginning to delivery
• Make mechanical designs of Medium Voltage Switchgear using Solid Works, AutoCAD, SAP, etc.
• Prepare documentation: BOMs, material lists, drawings
• Follow non‑conformance reports and take necessary preventive actions
• Perform project peer‑reviews and utilize checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines
• Create Design to Order (DTO) solutions according to customer project requirements

• University degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• More than 3 years of experience working as a Medium Voltage Switchgear Mechanical Design Engineer (Production experience is an asset)
• Methodical approach with solid planning and self‑learning skills, team‑work oriented
• Knowledge of Turkish
