Plasterboard and By-Product Production Engineer – İzmit

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our İzmit Plant to lead the production and process improvement of plasterboard and by-product processes.

• Being responsible for the production and process improvements of plasterboard and by-product processes.
• Executing line and performance measurements which help diagnose technical problems of the plant.
• Investigating improvement potentials in process, production rate and quality.
• Analyzing periodical laboratory and production reports.
• Evaluating customer claims due to production together with local responsibles.
• Implementing new products and processes together with Region Team.
• Reporting on all production facilities’ activities.
• Creating production check‑list tables and cooperating with production responsibles.
• Evaluating plant’s needs and preparing investment reports with feasibility studies.
• Cooperating closely with Region Team to perform project‑based studies.
• Continuously analyzing and optimizing production processes.

• BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Preferably minimum two years of experience in a similar position.
• Preferably good knowledge and active user of the SAP‑PM module.
• Knowledge of or interest in Lean Management, 5S and Continuous Improvement, digitalisation.
• Working experience in an international environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially MS Excel.
• Strong communication skills, team working and consumer‑centric approach.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Residency or ability to reside in İzmit.
