Test Engineer; Manual + Automation

Octopus Digital Signage is a technology company building end-to-end digital screen management solutions for retail, enterprise and public spaces. We build large-scale systems running on a cloud-based CMS, Android / Windows / Linux / Tizen players and a microservice architecture.

We're looking for a Test Engineer to take our product quality to the next level — someone who can run manual tests in the field and, over time, contribute to test automation.

• Run manual functional tests for web (CMS), mobile and desktop applications
• Carry out field tests on physical devices (Android boxes, screens, player devices)
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases and bug reports
• Track issues found together with the developer teams
• Over time: start writing automation tests (UI / API)
• Contribute to standardising test processes
• Support setting up regression test flows

• Basic knowledge of manual testing processes
• Familiar with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Values bug tracking and test documentation
• Open to learning, curious and growth-focused
• Enjoys researching technical topics

Nice to have:

• Interest in test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
