- Work experience in core DBA team in a large and busy environments such as financial institutions is a plus
- Preferably experienced on open source databases
- Experience or familiarity with data integration/replication/streaming technologies and approaches
- Experience on Sofware architecture or Software development background is a plus
- At least one of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, VectorDBs ( Milvus etc. ), Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle etc. database administration experience
- Preferably Bachelor's degree in Computer engineering or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 4 years experience in technical IT positions
- Experienced on Structured Query Language variants, performance tuning & database design, security, coding, database architecture and internals
- Experienced on database systems' high availability solutions
- Database administration for third-party and internally developed applications, ensuring continuous 24x7 operation and availability in support of mission-critical business applications and participating in on-call rotation
- Work closely with system engineering, software development, devops, security, business operations and technical operations to ensure delivery of database services within the SLAs and performance targets
- Good engineering skills in developing enterprise solutions
- Work experience in a Financial Institute will be preferred
- Experiences in DWH, data integration, AI, streaming analytic projects are a plus
- Experience or knowledge of Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages, such as Powershell, Shell scripting, Python etc.
- Ability to work under intense stress and workload
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Awareness of strong responsibility
- Ability to communicate with technical staff across multiple disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to lead and to effectively communicate with staff at all levels
- Focused on the outcome for the team and the company
- Demonstrated understanding of systems and process within a complex environment
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Male candidates must have completed their military obligation
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Eager to learn new technologies and products
