This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Preparer, located in Jackson, MI. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The role also includes analyzing and preparing financial statements, interpreting tax laws, advising clients on tax-saving opportunities, and staying updated with changes in tax legislation.

Attention to detail and maintaining client confidentiality are essential aspects of this position.

• Proficiency in Tax Preparation, including preparing and filing individual and business tax returns.
• Strong understanding of Tax Law and regulations to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
• Knowledge of Financial Statements and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Tax and Finance principles, with the ability to provide informed financial advice to clients.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and related tools is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly recommended.
• Relevant certification, such as CPA or EA (preferred but not required).
